Welcome to my shrine to the Indianapolis Colt's 1998 #1 draft pick, Peyton Manning. Peyton attended the University of Tennessee, where he broke nearly every school passing record and became a legend. Now Peyton follows in his dad's, Archie Manning, footsteps and takes his game to the next level. The NFL!!! Although I'm not a University of Tennessee fan, I did follow Peyton's career at Tennessee and I became enamored with his game. I have also been an avid Colt's fan since 1984, when they relocated to Indianapolis from Baltimore. So when draft day rolled around, I was sweatin' it. It came down to Peyton or QB Ryan Leaf from Washington State. It was music to ears when the commissioner stepped up to the podium and said, "With the first pick in the 1998 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts select quarterback Peyton Manning from the University of Tennessee". I am just a fan of Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. But I am going to try and make this the one-stop-shop for information and other goodies about Peyton.
